Well, it’s time to post my picture which I drew for the contest ‘The Elder Scrolls Online’. First - certainly I am pleased that my work was noted in consolation prizes. Second - I’ll not pretend, I’m still VERY surprised by the choice of the jury. Until now I can’t believe that they just threw out the great pieces (pieces that are better than mine) but they chosen drawings that don’t even match the conditions of their own competition. Because by the rules they accepted only vertical “portrait” formats… in the end 4 of 6 works were HORIZONTAL format. And another one even wasn’t in the contest’ gallery. I don’t know. You can say that my words are just an insult - again, who argues, of course it is! I’m really terribly sorry for my friends, their efforts and time spent on… that your piece is used as a background image for stream (without any credits ofc). And that’s all. And that’s all.
I just want to say that I don’t want to blame other participants, some drawings I really like. But when the rules of the contest are violated by their creators… it’s not cool. Perhaps, no contest for us anymore. Just no.
The New Year is coming, the time for miracles and the time to see that your attempts were again unnecessary to anyone.
