Here are seven sample pages I promised (these are not final). You can see one of the painting done by my collab partner Grace Kum. Check out her tumblr for more of her paintings!
Higher than the Sky is an ‘art of’ book format that illustrates the story of the Chinese tale: the Monkey King. We tried to focus on how a character can start from being innocent and end up to be someone with so much hate and destruction; rather than just showing the typical mischievous monkey.
We are still debating on selling this or not… if its going to happen it will be around after April 2016 since we are both so busy with wrapping up with school. Thank you so much for all who showed interest in this project! You guys are the best ;D

Old DK compilation. Not sure if I can say its my best character design, but I really enjoyed building the interaction between him and Sun! He is the weapon nerd in HttS.
