Certain sources place Sephiroth at 185cm (6'1"). And with headcanon Hojo at 172cm (5'7"), this is the kind of hilarious height difference that results.
I find it so sad that you can count the number of canon interactions these two have on one hand, despite their being so important to each other’s lives.
(Don’t mind me - it’s Father’s Day in Australia, and my misplaced paternal sentiments are potent as per usual.)

Apologies for the quality of the pages from… five onwards. I started this story a few months ago, before work got super busy and I couldn’t draw consistently. I don’t have enough fucks to polish the last few pages, but at least the story is all there!
The art is patchy - here’s to awkward style shifts and trying to learn new things.

They are coming back!
Been hella busy, so haven’t had a chance to celebrate the news until now. FFVII is important to me in ways I can’t describe, and has played some part in all the major decisions I’ve made in my adult life. Like most oldschool fans, I’m slightly apprehensive about the remake (esp considering what Dirge did to my favourite character)… but my excitement far outweighs any other feelings.
Can’t wait to go back home to Midgar and see all these excellent folks again!
